I just completed my first First Aid course :

On August 15, 2010 I completedmy First Aid course with the Indian Red Cross SSocieties Nashik Branch...actually 15 Aug. is my favorite outing date...Journalist get only four holidays in the whole year, viz. The Freedom day, Anant Chadurdishi, Diwali Padva and Rangpanchami. The other days there is a festive climate at home...but the freedom day is a great time to go out in the Sahyadris...at first it is rainy season...so the surrounding atmosphere is scenic with all the greenery...waterfalls go gushing here and there...

This time I choose to do a first aid course with the Red Cross society...once your education is decided after SSC or HSC there is little scope to enter medical field...not all can become a doctor...but to know basics in first aid is very important...it is not only useful at home...but u can also extend a support hand...whenever there is an accident or and emergency...

I think most of them who have a service kind of mindset should opt for this course. Of course there is a need to update oneself and be in touch...if one has to serve as a first aider...so practice regularly the bandages knots and the pressure points and message points to work effectively...

I accompanied with Samiran Kolhe, Pratik Ranalkar, two Pranav's Wamanacharya and Bhanose along with someparticipant.cipant...Mr. Dinesh Patil delivered excellently in the day long course...my 15 August this time was a real worth....

...my lovind grandmother

On 29 November, 2008 my grandmother, name Parvatibai Madhavlal Pardeshi passed away. She was 82.

I don't know, why I am not able to express my sorrow, wherein she is the second best lady in my life, after my mother, who have lots of loving memories.

I cannot forget her affection during my days of struggle, her sheer selflessness and never grudging attitude.

Sadly her birth date is not known to anyone. No one ever celebrated her birthday anytime. She belonged to Savkheda (tehsil Yaval, district Jalgaon). Once we visited Savkheda, when I was a small child.

She never compromised with cleanliness, and was utter vegetarian. She use to work dusk to dawn. Barring small problems, she hardly needed any health related care. Since last few years, severe pain in her back took heavy toll of her.

The test and smell of the food she cook

is a permanent memory for me. This is a loss that is really irreparable for me.
